Task: Local drive restriction for the Client Machine so they cannot copy and paste from the Client machine.
Here are few policies that need to be disabled so users can't see local drives/USB drives and Portable HDD in their Citrix ICA session.
- Allow file transfer between client and desktop. By default, it's allowed and you will have to disallow/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Auto Connect Client Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Drives Redirection: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Fixed Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Floppy Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Network Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Optical Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Client Removable Drives: By default, it's allowed and you will have to disabled/Prohibit this policy so the users can't transfer data from Physical to the Cloud and vice-versa.
- Preserve Client drive Letters: By default, it's disabled you will have to keep the same settings as it is by default.
- Once, you are done with the policies, assign these policies to the respective Delivery group.
